Pink ribbons signify the effort to increase awareness of the fight against breast cancer. The pink color and the ribbon shape translate well into centerpieces that are appropriate for fundraisers, a breast cancer survivor party or other celebrations. These breast cancer awareness centerpiece ideas range in difficulty and style, providing options that are fitting for many occasions.

  1. Pink Flowers

    • Incorporate the breast cancer awareness pink ribbon theme into a floral centerpiece idea. Use several short vases or glass votive holders arranged on the table in the shape of the breast cancer awareness ribbon. Place a small amount of water in each vase. Place one pink flower in each vase, cutting the stem to an appropriate height for the container. Or use pink candles in place of the flowers for a different approach to the centerpiece. Viewed from the top, the pink flowers or candles form the pink breast cancer awareness ribbon.

    Brochure Basket

    • Use the breast cancer awareness centerpiece to disperse information on the topic. Decorate a basket with pink ribbons to incorporate the breast cancer awareness theme. Use pink tulle or other fabric to line the basket. Place breast cancer awareness pamphlets in the basket for guests to take. Use pink ribbon to tie each pamphlet to a small gift, such as a bag of pink candies.

    Balloon Bouquet

    • Use a bouquet of breast cancer awareness balloons for the centerpieces. Choose a Mylar balloon in the shape of a pink breast cancer awareness ribbon or one with a picture of the ribbon on it. Accent the breast cancer awareness balloon with pink and white latex balloons, tying them all into a bunch. Use a pink balloon weight or a heavy object displaying the pink ribbon to hold the balloon bouquet in place.

    Survivor Collage

    • Create a photo collage of breast cancer survivors. Use a digital picture frame or adhere the pictures to a pink piece of poster board. Consider creating a breast cancer survivor scrapbook as an alternative for the centerpiece. Add captions for the photos that tell each survivor's story to add a personal touch to the breast cancer awareness campaign. If there are several tables that need centerpieces, feature one breast cancer survivor on each table, encouraging the guests to visit all the tables to read more about the survivors.

    Edible Centerpiece

    • Incorporate the pink ribbon motif into edible centerpieces. Consider making a cake in the shape of the pink ribbon, cutting the shape from a sheet cake and icing it with pink frosting. Create a display of cupcakes that have the pink ribbon symbol on top. Use a ribbon-shaped cookie cutter to make pink ribbon cookies. Ice the ribbon cookies with pink frosting and display them on a platter, or wrap each cookie in a cellophane bag and place them in a basket.
