The Los Angeles, California native was dressed down in blue jeans, black blouse and black checked blazer, along with black low-heeled sandals.

Emily, who plays Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan on the Fox comedy-drama, is currently enjoying a hiatus and obviously a stop at her favourite restaurant was top priority.

Emily has even taken to her Twitter page to pat Tai on the back.
'Had another incredible meal last night at @Crossroads8284 ! Thanks to @TalRonnen amazing!' Emily recently tweeted.

Not surprisingly Emily and her husband - who wed in a vegan-catered ceremony in September 2010 - are raising their boy vegetarian.
'We are raising Henry vegetarian,' Emily told Mother Nature Network. 'He will be mostly vegan and always have a choice in the matter, but we will educate him about why we make the choices we do with our food.
'My husband isn't one hundred percent vegan. I read Disease-Proof Your Child by Dr. Fuhrman, and think it is a must-read for parents trying to raise a healthy child,' she added.
Constant companion: Emily says that Henry accompanies her everywhere even to the Bones set
Meanwhile Emily says directing a Bones episode may be in her future, but later.
'I would just have to wait until my son was big enough that I didn't feel like I had to be with him as much,' the actress explained.
'Right now, I take him with me every day. I see him during my breaks. I'm still practicing as much attachment parenting as possible.
'I want to put my child first. But it is a goal for me, possibly next season or if we have a tenth season, or maybe both. We'll see.'
No Bones about it: Emily has played Dr. Temperence 'Bones' Brennan on the hit series for eight seasons so far
