The Vulgate (Biblia Sacra Vulgata) is atranslation of theoriginal Hebrew and Greek books of the Bible into Latin. Traditionally,thisversion of the Bible is associated with the name of St.Jerome, although not the entire Vulgate can beattributed to him. Throughout the centuries the Vulgate has enjoyedimmensepopularity among Catholic Christians.
