People get tattoos for countless different reasons, but it seems that a lot of tattoos are a way to show love. They can be a visible reminder of what matters most someone. For that reason isnt surprising that dads are getting tattoos in honor of their children.
We asked on our BabyCenter Facebook page recently to see some examples of the tattoos dads have gotten in recognition of their children. There are so many different examples, from birth dates, to animals, to symbols that are meaningful to the father.
According to a Pew Research poll in 2010 nearly 40% of millennials have a tattoo and about half of those have six or more. Tattoos are not uncommon and with more millennials entering parenthood, we can expect to see more and more parent tattoos.
My husband has been thinking recently of getting a tattoo with our childrens names, so weve been looking for inspiration. There really are so many different examples its overwhelming. Tattoos arent for everyone, but I think the meaning behind these tattoos anyone can understand.
