You can not force an animal to love you, be loyal to you, tell them lies to make them trust you. when you mistreat them, they will remember and not a single word, not a single sorry will make it better. All you have is your actions. I wish I could tell kitty I loved her in a way she could understand, but I can not, instead I try and show it her - every day.
