Im so sorry to hear youre going through this anon, it sounds like youve got a lot happening in your brain right now.
I have some good news, and some bad news.
We all experience this.
Its sad that it has to be that way, but I promise you - youre not alone. At different points in our lives, we all get overwhelmed with the things going on and feel incredibly alone in our stress, anxiety or depression.
I know its the very last thing you want to do right now, but please, push yourself to get outdoors, to see friends, to get into a regular sleeping pattern and to nourish your body with lots of good foods. Depression makes all of these things incredibly hard, trust me I know how impossible it can seem, but just try your very best.
Open up to someone else about what youre going through - a parent, friend, auntie, cousin, teacher, doctor, anybody who can be there for you. Simply getting it off your chest and sharing it with somebody else can be a huge weight lifted, and they will be able to ease your mind a little.
As for the schoolwork, just take it bit by bit. Set yourself a little schedule for each day, and work on a tiny little chunk at a time, chipping away slowly. Before you know it, youll have completed it all!
Your friends/schoolmates are in the same boat as you, and probably feeling that exact same stress (I know I did!). Why not open up to someone you know who is kind and empathetic, and you guys can have a laugh at how crazy and challenging everything seems right now. WHen I was in year 12, our whole grade sort of bonded over the fact that we were in a constant state of over-stressed sleep-deprived insanity. You can find humour in that, trust me.
Email your teachers, let them know how youre feeling, I bet they will have some great tips and also just help to calm your fears about the year ahead too.
