Cloud is a mass of liquid droplets or crystals of water and/ or chemicals that have been suspended in the atmosphere above the surface of a planet. Another name for clouds is aerosols. There are many types of clouds depending on their shape, thickness and altitude. Some of these are Nimbus, Cumulus, Cirrus, etc. All these cloud types have a specific character to distinguish them from one another. Cloud tattoos are used in the tattoo designs to have a stylish look and also used as cover up tattoos.
Clouds, however have a beep symbolism for those who get a tattoo made in order to have a certain connection with it. In the Chinese symbolism, clouds are a symbol for transformation and transition of the soul from one state to a higher unpredictable one. The Greco-Roman mythology considers clouds to be the homesteads of the Gods. They are taken to be synonymously with divine dwelling places. According to Hindu and Tibetan perspectives, clouds are a form of transition. But here if one believes in Zen and has a cloud tattoo made, it depicts the devotion to impermanence and detachment. Cloud tattoos also combine the symbolism of both air and water therefore; have a complete set of a balanced intellect and emotion.
