In honor of the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, here is a follow-up to last year's popular gallery of Harry Potter Quote Tattoos.
Sometimes its a little hard for me to share what my HP tattoo means to be since its so personal, but I feel like we all have such a similar story in that HP has done something for each every one of us.
i dont really think i can ever express in words what this tattoo means & represents for me. its a mixture of my childhood, me growing up, and what i hope for myself in the future. it is also a tribute to something that in a sense, saved my life.
This was right after it was done. Since then its been touched up and such. Its been over a year and a half since Ive gotten it and it still means as much to me as when I first got it.
This was my first and still only tattoo && I love it.

This is my Harry Potter tattoo, yeah its not exactly unique but the one I actually wanted wouldnt work for the size I needed it to be. I love Harry Potter and will continue to love Harry Potter throughout my lifetime. I wanted this one in a place where it would be ruined by time and change of my body so its on my left shoulder blade. My future children will know what Harry Potter means to me.

Honestly even if I wasnt obsessed with Harry Potter I would have still gotten this quote because its so relevant and it can relate to not only myself, but pretty much everyone.
So yeah, Im a very happy person right now :)
my new tattoo that i got today 5/16/2011. its my tribute to harry potter. harry potter was a huge part of my childhood, and ive stuck with it to the very end. it means a lot to me, and now that its going to be officially over in july i wanted to get a piece of it to stay with me forever. all was well were the last three words in harry potter and the deathly hallows. i got my tattoo done in Evanston Wyoming at Asylum Tattoo by Zachariah Shaw, he is a very talented person & ill definitely go back to him for my other tattoo needs in the future. :)
This is my Harry Potter quote tattoo. I got it because the first books I ever truly enjoyed were the Harry Potter books. My father bought me the first book and now we share a love for everything Booky.
I love my tattoo more than anything. Got it September, 2010 (Labor Day). Harry Potter is my life and I dont care who knows it (even though this tattoo isnt in a place that I typically display to the general public). It has like 3 meanings: one being the importance of HP in my life, one being that my dad is super against tattoos so my mischief is managed since I got one anyway, and the other beingwell, come on. Look at it. Its kinda sexual. I didnt really think about that at the time I was getting it done, but my friends have been like DANG GRL U SCANDALOUS.
Im so ready for another tattoo I cant even stand it. Ive been writhing around just desperate to like steal some money or something and just go get one. I have so many ideas, I just want them to all magically appear.

Right after it was done at FUs tattoo in Charlotte North Carolina. I love harry potter and i love mischief. A friend and I have matching tattoos (same word different lettering and spots). I love it its in the best place close to my heart.

Got this one in August. I got it after going through a really rough falling out with my best friend, and this is also when I found a new love for the Harry Potter series. I love Dumbledore with all my heart, and Im thinking of turning that arm into a HP half-sleeve. =)

I found this photo years and years ago. It was originally what inspired me to think about really getting a harry potter tattoo. I'm also planning on getting a similar chest piece. I wish the person who has this tattoo was in this group!
