The Chinese dragon tattoo is a very popular design all over the world. The difference between Chinese and Japanese dragons is actually minimal, Japanese dragons have three toes while the Chinese dragon has five.
While this is a list of our favourite 25 Chinese dragon tattoos, we have mixed some Japanese ones in too so we could get a nice sized list. The Asian dragons below are all very similar (slim snake-like bodies) as you will see, and very unlike the European style dragon which has large wings and a bigger (fatter) body.

14: In 14th spot in our Chinese dragon tattoo list is this dark non-coloured dragon which covers the arm/shoulder and back.
13: Extremely well designed face-on dragon.
12: Beautiful colours on this design, well worthy of such a high spot on the list.
11: Very large dark dragon design, great facial features on this one.
10: Into the top 10 now on our Chinese Dragon Tattoo list and here we have a very nice full back-piece.
9: Colourful red and yellow dragon back-piece.
8: Another huge dark dragon, looks amazing.
7: Dark dragons across the back are seemingly very popular, here is another great design.
6: Another large back piece, this one very nicely coloured.
5: Very nicely detailed red and purple dragon design.
4: This design is absolutely stunning, red flowers with a non-coloured dragon going up the leg and across the stomach.
3: This piece does look very Japanese in style, either way its a lovely piece.
