Shoulder Tattoos - Tattoo Designs on Master of Ink

Shoulder Tattoos
This is what I would call a typical tribal shoulder tattoo. And I think that a lot of people would agree with me. But, guess what? All of us would be wrong, and that includes me. Most people when they think of a shoulder tattoo think of the area on the upper arm. But, that area is actually the upper biscep and not the shoulder. You see, shoulder tattoos are more accurately represented as that part of the body that most people call the shoulder blade. I know, its really a distinction of semantics but when you want to get a shoulder tattoo designed and you walk into your local parlor you really want to make sure that your clear. Imagine walking into your local tattoo parlor and asking the artist to design you a shoulder tattoo. You actually mean the upper part of your arm but the artist thinks you meant the shoulder blade. So, he spends quite a bit of time developing a shoulder tattoo better suited for your shoulder blade. As you can see, a lot of time is wasted. So, the next time you get your ink fix think of one thing. Am I accurately telling the artist what part of my body I want the design on? Clarity is the key to many things, especially when it comes to tattoos.

Here is yet another entry into the realm of shoulder tattoos. Without being able to see the front of this shoulder, I cannot tell what this tattoo is of. It is still easy to see that it is very well done. It is both very symmetric and well shaded and really stands out as a tattoo. Whatever it is, its a good piece of artwork and I like it.
